Topic #36--"Latte" Entry

From Karen!:

"I’m entering a quilt I made a couple of years ago. When I was making the quilt, I searched for fabric with a coffee bean print, but I couldn’t find any anywhere. So, not being one to give up easily, I poured coffee beans on the scanner, scanned them, and made my own fabric by printing the scan onto cotton fabric made for an inkjet printer. I must warn you, dear reader, if you try this at home, please put a sheet of transparency, acrylic or glass between the coffee beans and the scanner bed. I no longer have that scanner. Enough said?"
