Topic #28--"Story" Entry

My entry for this week:

I often combine text and vintage imagery within the settings I create in my art. As I work I feel like I am weaving them together to tell a story about the person or people in the piece. I have a large collection of old books in my studio from which I draw the text--often times opening a random book, opening to a random page and dropping my finger down on the page--serendipity at its best, as I often find just the perfect text to tell the story.
